While numbers are up, total crossings are still down 30% year-to-date when compared to pre-pandemic traffic volumes
Traffic on the bridge between the two Saults was up almost 50% in the month of August, when compared to the same month last year.
By the bridge administration's calculations, this represents an increase of 47.3 per cent for the month amid the normally busy summer travel season between the two countries.
