Organiser Gabriella Ditton, who has been arrested 16 times over her activism, has named the protests ‘Staying Alive on the M25’.Nearly 100 people indicated on Facebook they will be attending the illegal raves, allegedly kicking off on Saturday at midday, with more than 290 said to be ‘interested’. Ms Ditton jokingly promised free drinks to anyone affected by the road blocks, adding ‘Sue Gray will be DJing a silent disco’ and ‘Dominic Raab making balloon animals’., all while demanding better insulation of homes to reduce carbon emissions.
