That was officially updated to a high-grade AC sprain in his non-throwing shoulder in an announcement by Freeman in his weekly Monday press conference. Buchner will have surgery Tuesday; the recovery timeline is generally four months, according to Freeman.move up the QB depth chart to Nos. 1 and 2 respectively, for a home matchup this coming Saturday with California . Pyne was 3-of-6 for 20 yards in relief of Buchner with a TD and an interception Saturday against Marshall.
In six career relief appearances and cameos spread over three seasons, the 6-foot, 198-pound New Canaan, Conn., product is 20-of-39 for 256 yards and two TDs with an interception.
