Calgary’s newest entertainment venue is home to 16 bowling lanes, 10 micro cinemas, an arcade, a restaurant, sports simulators and more.
The new 80,000-square-foot entertainment centre in Southcentre Mall is all about high-tech and interactive experiences. PowerPlay is home to 16 bowling lanes, 10 micro cinemas, augmented reality game rooms, golf and baseball simulators and an arcade. There’s also a restaurant and bar area where you can chow down on everything from Korean fried chicken and sliders to pizza and prawn pesto linguini.
If that weren’t enough, guests can expect even more cool attractions at the venue in 2025. Stay tuned for more details on the addition of a laser tag arena, a Starbucks location, a hidden speakeasy and even a rooftop patio. Whether you’re just popping in to see a movie or want to make a day of it by trying out multiple activities, the sprawling venue is an exciting and fun-filled addition to Calgary’s entertainment scene. Look for it on Southcentre Mall’s third floor in the former Sears space.Try to get a strike on one of the 16 bowling lanes, which are surrounded by colourful lights and lots of TV screens. Guests can order drinks and food at the bowling alley’s dedicated bar area to be delivered to their lane.
