James Corden moved to America to launch the LateLateShow in 2015
After moving to America to launch the successful The Late Late Show back in 2015, James Corden has announced that he will be stepping back as its host in 2023.
“I’ll miss the adrenaline of thinking: ‘Next week I’m going to jump out of a plane with Tom Cruise or in two weeks’ time, we’re going to drive around the White House in a car with Michelle Obama or sing Penny Lane with Paul McCartney driving down Penny Lane'. “All of my greatest ambitions for what it [the show] could be, it has absolutely surpassed all of them.”
In fact, back in January it was alleged that the production company behind The Late Late Show, Fulwell 73, had a turnover over £32.4million alone. Away from his time doing Carpool Karaoke and interviewing the hottest celebs, James has racked up some pretty impressive film and TV credits too.
