THUNDER BAY — An inquest will be held next month into the death of an employee at the Musselwhite gold mine in November 2015.
Jose Amaral, 49, died from injuries sustained when an unexpected rockfall occurred while he was operating a scoop underground, leaving the machine completely covered in debris. The mine is located 480 kilometres north of Thunder Bay.He had worked at Musselwhite since 2011.It's expected to hear from approximately 20 witnesses.
