Managing director of Infiniti Canada says he’s trying to come up with a strategy to bring the 2026 models to Canada this summer

“Our dealers have an on-ground inventory of QX60 of 90 days. We’re in a pretty good space and in good shape for the foreseeable future,” said Ken Hearn, managing director of Infiniti Canada, during the QX60 unveil at Nissan Technical Center North America in Farmington Hills, Mich. “Hopefully, the tariff situation gets resolved by then.”
“It’s a difficult and ever-changing situation, which makes it even more difficult to try and plan out a strategy on a go-forward basis. Now, we’re in a wait-and-see process,” Hearn said.midsize SUV competes with rivals such as the BMW X5 and Lexus TX. It has three rows of seats for up to seven passengers and is powered by an updated two-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
All models have dual 12.3-inch displays – one for the reconfigurable instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system. The centre display has Google built-in, complete with Google Maps, Google Play and Google Assistant. It works well and understands natural language easily. Simply say, “Hey Google, turn on my heated seat” and it does so in seconds.New camera technology includes a three-dimensional around-view camera monitor with fixed and moving views to detect objects around the vehicle.
