Interfor is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment in our state-of-the-art sawmill facility. As an Industrial Mechanic , you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our mill. Your responsibilities will encompass repairing, maintaining, welding, and adjusting a wide range of equipment and machinery. This includes conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, as well as automated systems. You'll utilize machining tools to manufacture necessary parts, ensuring optimal efficiency throughout the mill.
Your work will be essential in transforming forest products and contributing to the growth and prosperity of our communities.\We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual with a proven track record in industrial equipment maintenance. A college diploma (DEC) in industrial mechanics or a vocational diploma (DEP) in industrial maintenance is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, particularly within the sawmill industry, is required.
