The Humane Society for Hamilton County is featuring three dogs and two cats looking for forever homes this week.

Indianapolis Animal Care ServicesThe goal of these events is to help find forever homes for the shelter animals as well as promote safe trick-or-treating.

The first event is called"Find Your Boo" – and it is an adoption event that will feature free animal adoptions from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 28. While there is no cost to adopt a pet, IACS encourages donations. IACS also recommends that prospective adopters should review available animals and submitLater that afternoon, from 6–9 p.m., the shelter will host a"Trunk-or-Treat" event in the large building behind the shelter.

Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes to the events, but IACS suggests that large components or accessories to the costumes be put away prior to visiting with the animals. for those who are unable to attend the event but would like to help support the shelter.
