What Time Travel Means For Indiana Jones 5 The trailer sees Mads Mikkelsen's new villain, former Nazi Jürgen Voller, hinting that the Dial of Destiny can be used to travel through time, expressing his wish to see Hitler win World War II. Ford has already praised Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny's script, meaning the movie is likely to retain the same level of adventure as other films, even with the vastly different premise.
If the Dial is a tool used to travel through time, then it's likely old Indy will try and use it to stop Jürgen before he has a chance to use it to help the Nazis win. It could also result in a crossover between old and young Indy as both try to stop Jürgen in an adventure through time.
