San Luis Police Department posted on its Facebook page Monday it was 'on the lookout for an escaped prisoner from the Arizona Department of Corrections.

A prisoner was still unaccounted for Monday evening after the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry said he walked away from a work crew at 9:20 a.m. in San Luis.

In a statement, the department said it had notified"all local law enforcement agencies as well as the U.S. Marshals Office, and U.S. Customs & Border Protection. ADCRR investigations and apprehension staff, including ASPC-Yuma staff, are actively searching for Perryman." A spokesperson for the Department of Public Safety said the agency put out an attempt to locate on behalf of the Department of Corrections. An ATL is a standard broadcast to all highway patrol units in the area.
