She was there because she needed more care than she could get in the home," Farrell said in an interview."But there was no place else for her to go." Kimberly Stephens, the hospital manager for the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC, says there has been an uptick in the number of calls and admissions of animals affected by extreme temperatures.
