In planning for flooding, Texas must think about developing methods that work with rather than against nature.We all know that Dallas is one of thousands of cities around the world that has tamed nature by burying it, trapping it in concrete and making it invisible.

It’s the ghosts of Cedar Springs, Kidd Springs, Mill Creek and soBut what if our city and state did a much better job of working with, instead of against, nature from now on?We’re glad to say that there is more work in this direction, and it can’t come soon enough., according to reporting by our newsroom. Addressing the potential for future damage will mean more flood-control work.
