SYDNEY RIVER, N.S. — Wednesday is McHappy Day across Canada when McDonald’s Restaurants donate a portion of proceeds from items sold to charities.
In Cape Breton, the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation will use proceeds towards the purchase of equipment needs at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, including a bladder scanner, mobile tele pack and endoscopic video unit, and a blanket warmer.As part of McHappy Day, volunteers from the community always lend a hand in the kitchen and all around McDonald’s restaurants.
