Seven voting centers spread across central San Diego and East County will be open daily for both in-person voting and mail ballot drop-off
Starting Saturday, residents in central San Diego neighborhoods, La Mesa, Lemon Grove and beyond will have the option to cast their ballot in person for county District 4 supervisor at seven different voting centers spread across the district.
At stake is not only the District 4 seat but control of the five-member Board of Supervisors, which is currently split between two Democrats and two Republicans. However, independent fundraising by political action committees, which cannot coordinate with campaigns, dwarfed the total contributions to the candidates themselves and skewed the totals in favor of Montgomery Steppe.
