INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead following a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis on Tuesday. IMPD officers responded to reports of a person shot near Mitthoefer Road and E. 38 Street in Indianapolis. That person was later pronounced dead. Separately, as of 4:22 p.m. on Tuesday, IMPD officers are also on scene at E. 56th St. and N. Post Road on reports of another person suffering injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
