The illegal immigrant population in the United States increased by roughly 1 million during President JoeBiden's first year in office, according to a new analysis.
"Businesses are once again hiring, and many unscrupulous employers are using this as an opportunity to turn to reliably cheap labor to undercut the market and make up for lost profits resulting from economic shutdowns stemming from the
," the study said of the economy."These unethical hiring practices occur even though millions of Americans remain unemployed or underemployed."U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and prevented U.S. Customs and Border Protection from being able to secure the southern border properly, the report found.
Our new report finds that the illegal alien population increased by about 1 million in 2021, adding an additional $9.4 billion in costs to American taxpayers. In total, some 15.5 million illegal aliens now reside in the United States, costing you $143.1 billion a year.
