I also feel like it matches the rest of my high school experience with not being what I expected my entire high school career to be,” said Hannah. “From having a chronic illness, to creating the app... having an odd senior year is kind of fitting, in a way.
Still, Hannah is looking forward to this weekend. We Are Well Prom 2020 will take place on Instagram Live on Saturday night at 9 p.m. The prom king and queen will receive cash prizes, and so will the prom court. The legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff will be spinning on the ones and twos. “We are encouraging people to wear their favorite quarantine outfits, whether it’s their cozy pajamas or a prom dress that they didn't get to wear this year,” said Hannah. She reached out to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation to transform her virtual prom idea into a reality. Pandora jewelry selected Hannah as one of the top 10 female high school seniors around the country, so she will be decked out in their accessories on prom night.
