The upcoming live-action/animated fantasy-comedy IF is set to reunite stars John Krasinski and Steve Carell.
In a new featurette shared by Krasinski on social media, the star is seen praising Carell, joking that the pair appeared together on a “little thing a long time ago.” The video then shows the pair greeting each other with a big hug, remarking that it had been “years” since they saw each other.
IF is written, directed, and produced by John Krasinski, based on his original idea about a child’s journey in rediscovering their imagination. The ensemble cast includes Ryan Reynolds as Cal, Krasinski as Marshmallow, Steve Carell as Blue, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Blossom, Cailey Fleming as Bea, Matthew Rhys as Ghost, Louis Gossett Jr.
The film is produced by Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, and Andrew Form through their Sunday Night banner along with Reynolds for Maximum Effort.
