The 2024 Buskers Festival will see an expansion this year as well as an expanded focus in where the festival will source talent.
THUNDER BAY – The Bay and Algoma Buskers Festival is returning bigger and better than ever according to festival organizers.
“We're trying to get some cross-border tourism and just really kind of create the festival as an economic driver,” said Uriel Lubuk, festival director. For the second straight year, TD will be sponsoring the event. Michael Nitz, vice-president for TD for Northern Ontario and Manitoba, said that continuing the relationship between the company and the festival was an obvious choice.
