The ice cream shop at The Star in Frisco remains open.
closed in early October 2022 in East Dallas and Fort Worth. The shop remains open in one Dallas-Fort Worth location, in Frisco., a cup of soft-serve ice cream piled high with house-made candies, sauces and bits of desserts like brownies or cake. The sweets were made at a commissary kitchen in Carrollton, but the company is no longer using it — which means the desserts and sauces shuttled to East Dallas and Fort Worth are no longer being made.
Cow Tipping Creamery has served a variety of desserts and cones over the years. In this 2016 Dallas Morning News file photo, a Southern Charm bubble cone comes stacked with rum-caramel sauce, honey-dusted pecans and other sweets. Dallas restaurateur Jay Jerrier scooped up the Cow Tipping Creamery business in 2016, after it had initially opened in Austin. The first CTC in D-FW was inside the beloved, long-gone East Dallas restaurant Good 2 Go Taco. From there, Jerrier and his team grew Cow Tipping Creamery to other parts of Dallas-Fort Worth, often in tandem with one of his other restaurants.
