Ian Garry is losing hope of a future matchup against Colby Covington.
Garry has been rallying for a clash against Covington for a while now, which has invited signature trash talk from the former welterweight title challenger. Covington has taken multiple digs at Garry and his wife, also laying downneeded to fight the Irish contender. While Garry has accused Covington of ducking him, the former interim champ recently turned down a potential fight,on Rio de Janeiro.
“Colby needs to stop running, that’s the truth. I feel like Colby’s running, he doesn’t want to say yes, and he’s going to make any excuse he possibly can. That’s the truth,” Garry said. “Yes, there’s been offers. He hasn’t said yes. All we’re waiting on is Colby to say yes and then that’s it, everything can get finalized, but I fully believe that Colby is going to run and he’s not going to fight this fight.
