Testimony began Wednesday in the civil defamation and battery trial of former President Trump, who is accused of raping a woman in a department store dressing room nearly 30 years ago.
E. Jean Carroll testified about the alleged encounter that her attorney said "lasted just a few minutes" but stayed with Carroll forever.
Asked by her attorney Mike Ferrara whether she found Trump attractive Carroll answered yes. "He was very personable," she said."When do you believe Donald Trump assaulted you?" Ferrara asked. "I've always thought it was a Thursday. I didn't say it was a Thursday because I wasn't 100% certain. The defense said Carroll has testified that part of the reason she brought the lawsuit against Trump was because he called her a liar. A defense attorney pointed out that Les Moonves also called Carroll a liar and she didn't file suit against him.
