Dave Hartrey, 24, is calling on the medical community to help him raise awareness of the dangers.
"I had so many open sores on my back I had to stay in the house for nine months while they healed," lamented bodybuilder Dave Hartrey.Hartrey was introduced to steroids after starting bodybuilding at age 20.Despite the side effects, Hartrey refused to stop taking steroids because of the amazing muscle gains.
He added, “I got mine off a guy in my gym, which I wouldn’t recommend doing whatsoever, because you could be taking anything!” “I had open sores on my back from where the boils had popped and then they needed to heal properly,” said Hartrey.Hartrey wants to use his story on a cautionary tale on the perils of using steroids.“I can’t sit here and say I’m 100 per cent happy with myself, I’ll probably have these scars for the rest of my life,” said Hartrey.
