I slept for the majority of the day and couldn’t eat anything. On Saturday, it felt like someone had kicked me in the temples. for most of the month and I had spent it running up and down the house ensuring my mother was well looked after, taking her temperature, feeding her small bowls of soup, making sure she was medicated while speaking with doctors over the phone who monitored her progress.
