Talk about a transformation!
In the back of my mind, I knew I was going to have to do something one day, but I didn’t know what or how. I was uncomfortable in my own skin, clothes didn’t fit, and I had to keep buying bigger sizes to try to hide my girth. One day in 2003, while showering, I dropped the soap and couldn’t bend down to pick it up without turning off the water. I had to get out of the shower, get down on my hands and knees, and then stand back up one knee at a time.
t. As soon as I turned the water back on, the soap slipped out of my hand again. It’s not an exaggeration when I say that when I turned the water off, I got dressed and went to the local gym and signed up.
