In loving memory of Della “Marie” Huss, September 13, 1938 – June 26, 2024. Beloved wife of Don Huss predeceased 1997. Sadly, missed by relatives and friends. Born and raised in Markdale, Ontario, she worked for 35 years as a teacher and consultant.
Marie was a respectful published author and poet. Marie spent most of her life in Sudbury; she received an award of excellence from the Sudbury Board of Education 1989. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage on French River, cooking, cards, music, hunting, camping, and fishing. Travelling was a great interest of hers, she did a lot of it both domestic and international. Marie was a very loyal friend and never spoke ill of anyone, always a private person. She had a special place in her heart for children. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Alzheimer Society, or any Children’s Charity would be appreciated.Giving time, knowledge and motiveReplacing a missing parent and guideThey continue to grow with youthA place that we understandArrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, www.lougheedfuneralhomes.comCelebration of Life Park Lawn Cremation Services
