Hurtado Barbecue at Texas Rangers games is ‘most inspired’ option in years according to Evan_P_Grant

Hurtado has been named the official barbecue restaurant of the Texas Rangers and has signed a deal to serve food during games and special events. Hurtado Barbecue at Globe Life Field in Arlington will sell birria tacos , beef ribs , brisket elotes and brisket sandwiches. It will also have loaded brisket nachos .
While Rangers concessions company Delaware North has smoked barbecue over the years, Hurtado’s presence at the ballpark is more significant for locals and tourists, says“This company” — Hurtado — “is the single most inspired concession stand I’ve seen at the ballpark in my 27 years covering the Rangers,” Grant says.
The birria tacos and supple beef ribs were some of the best food we tasted before Rangers’ opening day. In addition to the new Hurtado stand, theHurtado’s beef rib will be one of the most expensive items inside the ballpark, at $44.99 per rib. Each piece, a caveman-like hunk of beef on the bone, is 1.5 to 2 pounds and can feed several people.
