The Category 1 storm made landfall on Sunday with winds of 85 miles per hour and drenching rains.

“It will not be comparable to what we had yesterday, but it will be enough to exacerbate the problems that we have in some parts of the island,”Fiona is the third hurricane of the season and is forecast to become a major hurricane in roughly 48 hours, east of the Bahamas.
