In another incident in 2016, Paul allegedly tried to leave the African House bar and restaurant with a beer. Management did not like this and, as cops bluntly put it, “an argument ensued.” Then on Sunday, a fight in an apartment building on Lisgar St. near Queen St. W. left another person dead. So far there have been no arrests in any of the slayings.With years in homicide, the unit’s chieftain, Det. Insp. Hank Idsinga, seldom hits the panic button.
