Defenceman Filip Hronek contributed a pair of assists for the Canucks and Kevin Lankinen stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced. Charlie Lindgren made 23 saves for a Washington side that saw its six-game win streak snapped. The result marked the Capitals' first regulation loss since Dec. 29.
