Hugh Grant is 'in talks' to play Prince Andrew in film about his 2019 BBC interview
The project is set to centre on the disgraced Royal’s disastrous TV interview with Newsnight host Emily Maitlis which aired in November 2019, and will follow behind the scenes of the infamous interview.
"Rather like the film Frost/Nixon it will look at the lead up to the interview and show in detail how Emily forensically pulled the royal apart – and gained some responses which were as shocking as they were bizarre." Prince Andrew is accused to have had sex with minor Virginia Roberts Guiffre, at Maxwell’s house in London, whom he claimed to have “no recollection” of meeting in the 2019 interview.
