We've all heard the saying"April showers bring May flowers," and that phrase couldn't be a better description for the wet weather Toronto's expected to get over this weekend.The environment agency is forecastingby Monday evening over southern Ontario, and the heavy precipitation is set to arrive just in time for several major events across the city.
In Toronto, Environment Canada says the rain will begin early Friday evening, with total amounts of 10 to 15 mm by the end of the day. A cloudy and rainy weekend is expected, and the rain may continue on Monday. Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 70mm are likely by Monday evening over southern and northeastern Ontario.
