Callender-Prasad said he has been working with Vancouver police to ensure the event is safe, and that he is encouraging anyone who attends to maintain physical distancing. People who are ill were asked not to attend. “We respect peaceful protests and during public demonstrations, police response is proportionate to the activities observed.”
