Port Caledonia product Hudson Clarke along with a first-round pick in 2023 and future considerations were traded from the Miramichi Timberwolves to the South Shore Lumberjacks for former Cape Breton Eagle draft pick Mason Beck. Clarke is currently playing with the Sydney Mitsubishi Rush and has seven goals and 19 points in 26 games. He's a draft pick of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Halifax Mooseheads.
