The show on Saturday, July 8, set a new Guinness record — for a worthy cause.

Nine cities, nine concerts, 12 hours — a B.C. acoustic-pop duo band just created a new world record.

Appearing at a Ford dealership in Burnaby, the duo delivered a live concert in their attempt to break the previous record of eight concerts in a 12-hour period. The stop was about halfway through their marathon day of performing in pursuit of the world record. The series of live concerts kicked off at 10 a.m. in Squamish before the band made its way across Lower Mainland, stopping at Vancouver, Abbotsford before reaching Burnaby. The celebrations culminated at Poseidon Restaurant and Bar in Langley with the new record set.
