One reason he chooses to wear a skirt is to inject novelty into male fashion.
“It’s just fun to wear a skirt,” said Harbour while sitting front row at Friday’s presentation. “It’s comfortable, and I don’t feel weird wearing one. At the beginning of the press tour forbefore the pandemic, the first thing I told my stylist was that I’d love to wear a skirt. I’d love to wear something where my legs are free and have some more creative expression in what I wear. For men, it’s so often suits.
Some still heavily lean against the revival of the male skirt, considering it an exclusively female piece of clothing that does not uphold masculine identities. “I hope people don’t think that masculinity is defined by the exterior,” said Harbour. “Masculinity can be about being a father, being caring, having depth and power and many other things. I think the external qualities of that are defined so rigidly, and to open that up through fashion is great.

Guys shouldn’t be judged, and if someone is, we should say something.
