Elders who participate in seniors programming will get 42-cent bus rides
Under a six-month pilot program beginning in September, local seniors will be able to buy a Sault Transit 12-ride senior's pass for $5.
Approved by city council on Monday night, the deep-discount passes will be made available from Sept. 1 to Feb. 29 to seniors participating in programming at Active55+ Centres at Bay Street Seniors Active Living Centre and Northern Community Centre.
