How one VogueMagazine editor got dressed for a beach getaway in Grand Cayman
When it comes to beach vacation outfits, there’s nothing quite as quintessential as an outfit centered around a pair of. I love Christopher John Rogers for many reasons, one of which being his genius in seamlessly adding bold color to his designs. Even those who prefer a more muted palette, like me, want all of his pieces! When I saw these pants with rainbow-hued belt loops, I had to have them.
I threw them over a red bikini during the day. For lunch at the hotel’s restaurant Tillies, I slicked back my wet hair into a bun with Briogeo’s vegan boar bristle brush, and threw on my perfect-fitting Asketatop my swimsuit. The hotel has a bevy of merch—some of which in collaboration with designer Bode—so I secured myself a Palm Heights–emblazoned hat to commemorate the perfect week in paradise for when I returned home to my beloved, frigid New York.
