'Dehydration, dullness, and breakouts are symptoms that many Muslim women, including myself, face during this month.'
As a Muslim, I observe the month of Ramadan every year: a time of fasting, reflection, and praying practiced by Muslims all over the world. It’s very important for me in terms of personal reflection and healing because I’m in control of my actions . Personally, I also choose to not listen to any music or indulge in movies for this month — because I like spending my time more on things that matter to me and it’s refreshing to have that break from entertainment.
The most important skin care hack I’ve found is as simple as drinking tons of water. Trust me, your skin and the rest of your body will thank you! I do this by constantly keeping a bottle of water by my side during the hours between sunset and sunrise, and even overnight for those moments when I wake up in the middle of the night with my throat as dry as the Sahara Desert. Since the window of time for drinking water is limited, I make sure I get in as much as I can.
