Backstage on Tuesday, before the start of Dior’s Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear runway show at Tuileries Garden in Paris, models rotated between hair and beauty stations prepping for the upcoming event. Among a bustle of hairstylists, makeup artists, and photographers, one beauty element in particular stood out: the color pink.Dior makeup creative and image director Peter Philips chose pink—raspberry pink, to be exact—to honor former house designer Marc Bohan’s take on color.
Dior artists prioritized an ethereal, all-over skin glow that balanced nicely with the polished, glossy chignons crafted by lead stylist Guido Palau and team. “It’s all very controlled and ladylike, almost,” Philips says of the season’s hair looks. After prepping models’ complexions with the brand’s Capture Totale Le Sérum and Capture Totale Hyalushot, Dior’s Forever Glow Star Filter was applied as a primer, and to high points of the face.
