“ESG investing is ultimately about improving corporate performance financially, as well as environmentally and socially,” Conway said. “It’s becoming mainstream because it’s a smarter way of investing that lets you evaluate a company’s overall performance through additional lenses” — by looking not just at whether the company does well, but whether it does good, too.
