According to the health department, at least 6,522,158 young people have received the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the two-dose Pfizer vaccine.
Those who have received their initial single dose of the J&J vaccine are eligible for their first booster after 60 days. People aged 12 to 17 should receive a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine to complete the vaccination series.
“People who have received a complete vaccine series will be eligible for a booster vaccine six months after receiving their last vaccine dose.” A third dose of the vaccine for people aged 12 and older who are severely immunocompromised must be administered at least 28 days after the second dose.Boosters can be mixed, which means people can choose between the J&J and the Pfizer booster, said the department. “You are now able to get a mixture of the J&J and Pfizer vaccines against Covid-19.
