Stafford’s introduction to the technology was trial by fire back in 2017. She auditioned as a “stunt-and-movement” performer for Avatar’s stunt co-ordinator Garrett Warren and his team.She landed a spot in “The Troupe” and spent the next two years working full-time on sound stages wearing a form-fitting suit and helmet fixed with cameras. Markers were placed all over her body and face to capture not only her movements but also her expressions.

But she is confident that her work with the Troupe will be a part of it.
