"We made pre-orders to produce the maximum we could, but we ran out of wool after 48 hours of the pre-sale," adds Elisa Dahan, co-founder of Mackage. For Mackage, Elfassy says they know exactly how many coats they're able to recut and sell, while Strathberry has a stock of leather at its factory in Spain, which means it's in the position to be flexible to meet demand. "The biggest obstacle for us is the time it takes to make every bag, which takes up to 20 hours," Hundleby reveals. "That will always impact the speed of delivery.
