Houston weather: Gloomy weather to continue into new week

Forecasts have cool temperatures and precipitation continuing into the first days of the week before giving way to sunny skies and warmth. "I'd call it 'unsettled,'" according to the forecast from Travis Herzog and the ABC13 Weather Team."We should be mostly dry on Monday, but a series of upper-level disturbances passing through will bring multiple chances of rain throughout the week, peaking on Tuesday with a 60 percent chance for showers and storms."
Here’s what to expect for the next few days, according to the forecasters at KTRK-TV 13 and the National Weather Service:It’ll be partly sunny, but the chillier weather will continue through the day. High temperatures are forecast in the low 70s, according to the weather service.Wind will also be a factor Monday as gusts continue throughout the day.Showers and thunderstorms are likely for Tuesday afternoon, according to the NWS forecast.
On Friday it should be sunny with highs in the 80s. That night should be mostly clear with lows in the 60s.
