Forward Brady Martin, head coach John Dean get nod for hockey showcase in P.E.I.
A Soo Greyounds forward has been selected to play for Team Canada Red at the 2023 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, Nov. 2-11 in Charlottetown and Summerside, P.E.I.Brady Martin is one of 17 players from the Ontario Hockey League to be chosen for the event.
Soo Greyhounds coach John Dean and Victoriaville coach Carl Mallette will serve as head coaches of Team Canada White and Team Canada Red, respectively, the Canadian Hockey League said in a news release. Red and White will meet in the lone all-Canadian matchup in the preliminary round on Nov. 3 in Summerside.
