The Listowel-Wingham Hospital Alliance says the ER at its Wingham hospital will be closed from Monday at 5 p.m. until Tuesday at 7 a.m. The closure follows another overnight shutdown on Sunday, and several temporary emergency department closures throughout the summer.The hospital alliance is attributing the latest closure to ongoing staff shortages.
