Asia-Pacific stocks tumbled Friday, Aug. 18, with shares in Japan decreasing for the third session and the Hong Kong market down for six consecutive sessions.
Of the the Hang Seng Index constituents, pharmacies/drug stores company JD Health International 6618, -13.00% saw the largest decrease in Hong Kong, as shares plunged 13.0% on Friday. Shares of marine transport firm Orient Overseas Intl 316, +0.75% and oil and gas exploration company CNOOC 883, +0.16% rose 0.8% and 0.2%, respectively.
