Hong Kong protesters have called for a boycott of Disney's Mulan remake after Liu Yifei backed the actions of police in the city.
Policing has become a key issue in the Hong Kong's political crisis with officers's facing criticism for violent crackdowns on protesters, teargas impacting local residents and businesses, and concern police ignored an organized mob attacking protesters earlier this month.on Friday following a row over staff from Hong Kong's flag carrier involvement in the protests.
However, recent events have called into question Cathay Pacific’s commitment to flight safety and security and put our reputation and brand under pressure. This is regrettable as we have always made safety and security our highest priority," said John Slosar, chairman Cathay Pacific in a statement.The political crisis that has gripped Hong Kong for the past 11 weeks has also had a major impact on local and international businesses.
